Now, grab a sticky note, write these words down, and place it on your mirror. Each time you see it, let this affirmation serve as a daily reminder of your worth and the sacred promise you’ve made to yourself. This is your moment to thrive.
Speak Positively To Yourself
Affirmations are the positive statements that you will say to yourself to help you foster a positive mindset. We will use this tool to rebuke our negative thoughts and make positive changes. No weapons formed against us shall prosper. We are prepared in knowing that we will face the challenges of negative thinking. However, I have learned that once I am conscious of the thought. I will quickly change the thought with a more positive statement affirming, “Today is a good day and I am doing my best. No weapons formed against me shall prosper. They may come but not prosper.” Speak positively to yourself. Do not allow the day to run you. You run your day. We are in control of our joy regardless of what may be happening around us.
Sure, not everyday will be good, but there will always be someting good about every day. Notice these things and celebrate them. Train your mind to see what’s right. Positivity is a choice.”

When we feel good, we naturally lead healthier lives. Remember, you are in control of your happiness—it’s your connection to what brings you joy from within. While there are countless ways to bring joy into your day, I encourage you to connect with and fall in love with activities that truly make your soul happy. Choose those that also nurture your health, whether it’s mental, spiritual, or physical. Even better, find something that supports all three—like walking in nature. For me, walking is therapy. It’s a simple yet powerful activity that rejuvenates my mind, nourishes my soul, and strengthens my body.
Our goal is to do something for ourselves first. You may have to wake up a little earlier but hey if that’s the case so be it. Aren’t you worth it? When we take care of ourselves, we feel good and we do better. Take the vow, to regard your well-being as a priority. Like Nike says: Just Do It!
