👋🏾Hey there!

I’m exploring my creative side while inspiring women to embrace self-care, prioritize their well-being, and truly love themselves. Writing has always been a part of me, even when I didn’t fully realize it. As a little girl, I was constantly scribbling stories, and I’ll never forget my mom asking in amazement, “Did you really write this?” (Yes, Mom, I did!)

Throughout my life, journaling became my solace. It was during one of those reflective moments that I stumbled upon the concept of Self-Love: Her First. That realization shifted everything for me, and I can’t wait to share this epiphany with you through my blog. The start of this blog marks the eleventh year on this self-love journey and it’s the seventh anniversary of my mom’s passing, and her voice is louder than ever in my heart: “Maria, you should write.” So here I am, embracing mom’s encouragement and stepping into this space with purpose and passion.

This isn’t my first attempt at blogging, but this time feels different—more connected, more authentic, more me. And as the legendary LL Cool J would say (with my mom cheering me on in spirit): “Momma said knock you out!” Let’s journey together, one heartfelt blog at a time. 🫶🏾
