Wow, can you believe we’re almost done with January?! Like, whew—what a month! Right?!
Question for you: Have you started your New Year’s resolution to lose weight? Was weight loss even part of your resolution?
For me? NOPE.
First off, I ditched New Year’s resolutions years ago. I’m all about self-reflection these days. That’s what led me to blogging in the first place! Because let’s be real—this whole living thing? It’s a journey. And I’m on this wellness journey for life! Mind, Soul, and Body.

Now, have I been actively physical? Umm… nope! Well, wait—let me rephrase that. I’m always moving my body (because Harlow, my American Bully, demands those daily walks 🐶). Shout out to Harlow! But let’s be honest—I haven’t been treating myself to the ENDOrphins make me soooo happy that come with a good sweat session.
Buuuut, that’s about to change! I’m lacing up my walking shoes and getting back to it. So, let’s Walk It Out (RIP DJ Unk 🎶).
Foundation of WELLthy Living
Self-love is the game-changer, and it is my belief that it is the foundation of WELLthy living—where your well-being isn’t just a goal, it’s a priority. Self-Love is a mindset that puts happiness, comfort, and health front and center. I fell in love with taking care of my mind, soul, and body, and now I encourage women everywhere to fall in love with taking care of self first. #SelfloveHERfirst.
And listen—there’s nothing selfish about it! Loving yourself first isn’t about neglecting others; it’s about being self-full. It’s necessary. Now, I won’t sit here and act like I’ve never had my struggles—mentally, spiritually, and physically, I’ve had my battles. But being deeply rooted in self-love has always brought me back to center. No Focus On Diets, Just WELLth
There are so many “diets” out there that come and go, but honestly? I’m not a diet person. I feel my absolute best when I eat sensibly and well-balanced—focusing on what fuels me rather than what restricts me. It’s all about moderation—because let’s be real, it’s okay to have a piece of cake. Just maybe let’s not eat the whole damn cake, right? 😆 But hey! No judgment here—if you do eat the cake, enjoy it!
Why? Because we’re humans, not robots, and sometimes we get off track. And if that happens? Dust yourself off and try again. This isn’t a quick fix or a race—it’s a LYFEstyle (Love Yourself First Everyday). The real goal? Fall in love with taking care of YOU.
